Waiting Game

A dip in the morning, followed by a rally and then a pullback in the afternoon. Indices traded more or less in the same range as yesterday (except for small caps, RUT made a higher high, higher low).

So basically not much happened, just like yesterday. Mr Market seems to be waiting for some big news or important data, like Jackson Hole for example...

5m-chart SPY:

Daily charts DIA, SPY, QQQ and IWM:

Euro, oil, metals
The euro suffered minor losses, but managed to stay above 1.25.
Metals and oil all got hit, considering the fact that the major indices were trading just above breakeven. They lost between 0.6% and 1.3%.
