Holiday Trading

Most indices went higher today (except the Dow), good for slow steady gains in typical holiday trading style. Boring but up anyway...

So a good recovery this week for the Dow and S&P500, but tech and small caps still have a long way to go to catch up!

5m-chart SPY:

Daily charts DIA, SPY, QQQ and IWM:

Euro, oil, metals
The euro is still not able to move above 1.385 and gets hit back again to 1.38.
Oil made another move toward $105, up over 0.5%.
While silver closed breakeven, gold ended the day with a 0.5% loss and copper with a 0.5% gain.

That's it for this week, tomorrow the market will be closed for Good Friday. Have a great weekend!
