Huge Volatility

Indices made good progress yesterday after-hours. Especially tech with bullish earnings news from AAPL which went up over 8%. That sent Nasdaq up 1%. Indices tried to add some to that before the open. Result: the gap up was sold on the open and in no time we were trading south of yesterday's lows. The bounce followed soon, but prices went up and down during the day to end almost flat for the Dow and S&P, a loss for small caps and good gains for tech.

Euro, oil, metals
The euro is still going sideways...
Oil tried to get back up it's feet, +0.5% to $102.
Metals were all up with copper being the big winner, gaining almost 2%.
